Behind the scenes: How we’ve structured the CDO articles series
In the next few weeks, I’m going headfirst into the digital deep end with the “404 Error: CDO Not Found” series. Picture this as your trusty GPS through the digital transformation landscape, where I translate tech-speak into human. We’re going to tackle everything from the search for the perfect Chief Digital Officer, to the why’s and how’s of digital strategy. And because I’m all about making complex topics feel like a chat over coffee, expect some light-hearted banter along the way.
Let’s kick off with first episodes, where its about setting the digital table. Think of it as digital transformation 101, where I will write about why having a digital strategy is like having a map in the wilderness, and how fostering digital culture is akin to convincing a cat to enjoy bath time. We will explore IoT and big data like digital explorers charting new territories, and quantum computing as if we’re unlocking the secrets of the universe. The future of work and sustainable tech will also get their time in the spotlight.
Episode 10 is where we finally pause and reflect, drawing lessons from past digital transformations as if we’re historians of our own digital age. I’ll compile a CDO’s checklist for long-term success, ensuring we build resilient digital ecosystems ready to withstand whatever the future throws at us. It’s about leaving a legacy of digital excellence that future generations will look back on with admiration.
